The TSC acts to assist a partner in determining support options by offering direct case resolution of technical issues; offering account management for the partner program; offering escalation management of incidents and account related issues; acting as an information concierge by proactively offering support information and documentation to customers; offering the customer a direct relationship and mechanism to ensure the satisfaction of Microsoft partners. Partner interactions will either be proactive or reactive in nature.
This position is responsible for
· Offering customers Incident Request Management by establishing supportability guidance and options.
· Offering customers Incident Request Resolution by direct case closure using Ascent Guidelines.
· Offering basic Account Management services for members of Microsoft Partner programs
· Acting as an Information Concierge by proactively offering hotfix, security bulletin, white papers and other technical resources relevant by partner.
· Offering Escalation Management for Account and Incident related issues.
· Offering monthly customer feedback, satisfaction and planning meetings to determine how best to support their partners experience
In this position, you will be a
· Named resource/contact for proactive and outbound interactions with partners
· Pooled resource for inbound Microsoft Partner queries and help establish a deeper relationship between Microsoft and its partners.
Qualifications and Job Criteria:
Professional Training and Certification
· MCSE, MCSA or other Microsoft Premier certification(s) in the technologies supported. Bachelor's degree recommended in a technical area. Otherwise demonstrated technical skills/passion in that field or similar expertise are required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated customer service skills. Enthusiasm for and experience with Microsoft products, and passion for Microsoft technologies. Strong teamwork attitude and self-drive is key. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical issues.
· Experience and cultural awareness in working with international partners and delivery teams.
